Cozine A Welch Jr is an educator, poet, and he’s instrumental in the Prison Creative Arts Project at the University of Michigan. He was also incarcerated at the age of 17, being released in his mid 30’s, to start life again.

Christopher and Cozine discuss Cozine’s entry into the life of of published writer while in prison. They also talk about going from prison to finding a new path in reforming criminal justice and expressing his ideas and talents through poetry, performance, and education.
